The Serbian Movement Dveri’s international secretary, Andrej Mitic, said that after 23 years of trying to join the European Union (EU), Serbia should finally redefine the relationship with the Union and set up a new framework for cooperation, based on respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a neutral political and military status.

“It is our firm view that Kosovo and Metohija should stay within Serbian borders, and that Christian identity and traditional family values need to be protected. Also, the growing totalitarian transhumanism and the irresponsible anti-democratic ‘migrant policy’ pursued by the Brussels administration should be fought against. There is a clear need for a healthy green patriotism that would resist the aggressive green supranational agenda promoted by Brussels,” Mitic said.

“It is very important to foster cooperation between all European parties and movements sharing these values and promoting a new, postliberal Europe based on a national, conservative consensus on values,” Dveri quoted Mitic as saying at the European Political Local Forum in Bavaria, on Feb. 8.
