Business communities and regional chambers of commerce, gathered in the Western Balkan Chamber Investment Forum (KIF ZB6), strongly support the leaders of Belgrade and Pristina in realizing agreements on normalizing relations as soon as possible, Serbian Chamber of Commerce president Marko Cadez said on March 30.

"Without a stable region and genuine trust between Serbs and Albanians throughout the entire Western Balkans as well as without its swift integration into the EU there can be no economically successful and secure South Eastern Europe, but also no stable EU," Cadez said after a session of the KIF ZB6 managing board in Skopje, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce has announced.

Business communities are ready to help develop economic measures as part of the normalization of ties between Belgrade and Pristina, cancel obstacles to business, as well as strengthen new dynamics on the road to European structures.

"The message that we send as representatives of the regional business community in which 18 million citizens live is clear: We want to fully support and speed up the process of normalizing ties in the region. There is not time to lose, we must run on the road to the EU, to enter the unified market," Cadez stressed.
