Serbian Minister for European Integration Tanja Miscevic said during an April 7 visit to Skopje that the key to making progress in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue was for Pristina to carryout its commitment to drafting a statute for the Community of Serb Municipalities and working on the Community as well.
“After an agreement was reached in Ohrid, a meeting between the two chief negotiators in the process was organized in Brussels, resulting in a declaration on missing persons, and, for the first time, a conversation about the Community of Serb Municipalities. I believe we all understand that the key to continuing and making progress in the process is meeting the commitment that Pristina accepted 10 years ago, when the Brussels agreement was signed,” Miscevic explained.
According to the minister, Serbia is fully aware of all the commitments that arise from the European proposal, earlier known as the Franco-German proposal for an agreement, and the implementation annex.
