Five victims of a May 4 shooting in Malo Orasje near Smederevo in which the killer used an AK-47 were buried at the local cemetery on May 6.
In Belgrade, several victims killed by Vladislav Ribnikar elementary school student K. K. on May 3 on school premises were buried on May 6. Two more funerals were announced for May 8.
The Serbian government declared three days of mourning starting on May 5 after the school shooting in a Belgrade elementary school where a student used his father's pistol to kill eight students and a security guard, and wound six other students and a teacher.
A second mass shooting happened a day later when U. B. used an AK-47 to murder eight and wound 14 youths in villages around Mladenovac and Smederevo.
