Members of parliament from the opposition parties organizing the “Serbia Against Violence” protests have announced that the rally on May 27 would include the forming of a symbolic ring around the head office of the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation (RTS), because it is “the information service of all citizens, who have to be truthfully informed about events in Serbia.”
The protest is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. and last until 10:00 p.m., and the holding of such rallies will go on until the fulfillment of the demands that the people announced earlier, it was stated during a news conference in the Serbian parliament building.
The participants of the protest have been invited to bring a flower each, to mourn the victims of the recent mass killings of school children and youths, and advised to “resist provocateurs, because the authorities infiltrate such people into the protests.”
