Undocumented migrants (BETAPHOTO/Interior Ministry/MO)
The police in Subotica announced on July 19 that they discovered 290 illegal migrants in the past five days, and transported them to the reception centers.
The operations were carried out within the city of Subotica and its surroundings, the police announced, adding that they were working continuously on suppressing illegal migration.
The police in Subotica announced that they would continue with regular controls of movement and dwelling of migrants „in order to maintain the security and safety of all citizens, as well as the migrants themselves.“
