The memoranda of understanding between Serbia and Cyprus in the fields of diplomacy, science, technology and education were signed in Belgrade on Nov. 24 in the presence of presidents Aleksandar Vucic and Nikos Christodoulides.
Before the signing, on the second day of Christodoulides’ official visit to Belgrade, the presidents attended the session of the Serbia-Cyprus Cooperation Council in Palace Serbia. After the signing, Vucic stated in a post on Instagram that the documents would additionally strengthen cooperation and friendly relations.
The memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the diplomatic academies of the two countries’ foreign ministries was signed by foreign ministers Ivica Dacic and Constantinos Kombos. The memorandum of understanding in the field of science and technology was signed by Kombos and the Serbian minister for science, technological development and innovation, Jelena Begovic, while the one on cooperation in education was signed by education ministers Slavica Djukic Dejanovic and Athena Michaelidou.
