The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said on June 4 that the upcoming June 8 Pan-Serbian Gathering of Serbia and Republika Srpska, to be held in Belgrade, will entail the signing of numerous agreements and memoranda, in keeping with the Dayton Agreement.
Speaking for the RTS public service, Vucic announced that the aim of the assembly is to establish cooperation on all levels, with ministers and the directors of public companies and cultural institutions from Serbia extending invitations to their Srpska partners.
“Everyone will have their own guests from Srpska to sign agreements, memoranda and see what we can achieve, while always abiding by the Dayton peace accords and calling out all irresponsible foreign factors that are undermining the Dayton peace accords while ever pointing fingers at others,” the president stated.
Asked about the joint declaration on the position of Serbs wherever they may live, which Srpska President Milorad Dodik announced would be jointly released by Srpska and Serbia, Vucic said that the document is being penned.
“We will discuss all current problems, will invite Serb representatives from Montenegro and other places, those who are willing to attend. Some are not – they are ashamed of their motherland,” Vucic concluded.
