Alliance for Serbia chairman Janko Veselinovic said on June 25 that the opposition bloc would not return to parliament until "the media is freed and conditions for free and fair elections are established."
In a written statement he said that "there will be no compromises nor semi-boycotts until the demands named in the Agreement with the People, and the One out of The Five Million expert team's demands are met."
"We are obligated to this by the Agreement with the People which was signed by around 200,000 citizens and any violation of that would be a betrayal of our fellow citizens," Veselinovic was quoted as saying by the Alliance for Serbia.
New Party MP Zoran Zivkovic said earlier on June 25 that MPs boycotting parliament ought to attend a direct questions and answers session on June 27 to ask the representatives of the government questions due to which "the ministers will have to bite their lower lips and give answers that will cost them their careers."
