On Aug. 29 Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the Serb List should participate in parliamentary elections in Kosovo on Oct. 6 to "win and defend Serb interests."

"The Serb List will have powerful adversaries in the Albanian media and part of the Serbian media, who will favor those who wish to demolish Serb interests in the southern  Serbian province," Vucic told reporters in Belgrade, referring to the Serb opposition coalition in Kosovo.

According to Vucic, however, the Kosovo Serbs know well who represents their interests and fights for them.

Vucic also announced that he would be going to the Vatican to beseech "it to not recognize Kosovo" and that he would discuss Kosovo with an additional 15 to 20 statesmen.

The Serbian President said that he would also speak on Kosovo at the U.N. General Assembly.
