The president of the Central Electoral Commission of Kosovo, Valdete Daka, stated on Oct. 3 that citizens would be able to vote at the Oct. 6 elections in Kosovo only with ID documents of Kosovo.

This was in response to the statement of the director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric, who said in an interview to RTS that "polling station committees in areas with the Serb majority will certainly accept all documents."

According to the portal gazetablic.com, a member of the Central Electoral Commission from the Self-Determination movement, Adnan Rustemi, said that Belgrade was "pressuring and blackmailing" the Serbs in Kosovo and Serb political subjects who participate in the Oct. 6 elections, via the Serb Ticket.
