The World Bank (WB) invited innovative small and medium enterprises and startups from the Western Balkans on Sept. 2 to apply, by Sept. 30, for the free assistance program PowerUP, under the slogan "Adapt your business model, build your resilience and expand your market presence."
The PowerUP program, which will last from this October to February 2021, is intended for small and medium enterprises and startups which are seeking new ways for attracting new buyers and clients, to improve their business models and which are potentially interested in external investments, the statement reads.
The World Bank, within its program PowerUp: Capacity Building for Early Stage Firms in the Western Balkans, has initiated the program for more than 200 companies. The program is being funded by the European Union within the Western Balkans Enterprise Development and Innovation Facility (WB EDIF) and carried out with the support of the global consulting company Deloitte.
