One of the world’s leading gaming companies, Stillfront Group, has acquired Croatian Nanobit for close to HRK1bn (around EUR132.4m).
The transaction will be carried out in two installments, with Stillfront first buying a 78% stake for USD100m, website B92 reports.
Two years later Stillfront will buy the remaining stake in Nanobit.
The total amount Stillfront will pay at the end of the transaction will be up to USD148m.
Stillfront Group is the world’s leading free-to-play company gathering 14 gaming studios around the world.
It employs more than 800 people, while its main markets are the U.S. Germany, the Middle East and North Africa, France and Canada.
The company seat is in Stockholm. Nanobit was founded in Zagreb 12 years ago by Alan Sumina and Zoran Vucinic with zero capital, no office and just two computers.
