The Delta Holding Company has said that it did not participate in a repeat tender for selling Sava Centar which expired on Sept. 25 because it believed the price and obligatory investment sum were unacceptable.
“The price of EUR21.9m and EUR60m in mandatory investment, which our consultants see as necessary, make this investment unprofitable in a reasonable period of time.
Delta Holding confirmed earlier that it was interested in investing in Sava Centar, although under conditions that made the investment sustainable, acceptable to the banks that go with investments of this kind, its employees and the community.
In 2016, the City of Belgrade called a public tender for establishing a joint venture company that would manage Sava Centar, in which Delta Holding was the only contestant, but no agreement on a partnership was reached.
In the previous tender the asking price was EUR27.4m plus EUR50m in mandatory investment, but no offers came in.
