The Montenegrin Oki Air company, which specializes in aviation services, is interested in buying the Adria Airways brand.
Namely, the Montenegrin company has sent a letter of intent to the receiver of Slovenia’s former national air carrier, according to Exyuaviation.
Oki Air is a general sale agent for several airlines in Slovenia, Montenegro and Croatia.
For a while, it operated as a sales agent for Adria Airways in selected markets.
Adria’s receiver has unsuccessfully been trying to sell the brand, which was offered first for EUR100,000 and then EUR50,000. Adria Airlines shut down on Sept. 30, 2019 after 58 years of existence.
