Targeted by Both the Government and Opposition

Prosecutor General Zagorka Dolovac, who has long been the subject of criticism for not reacting to numerous scandals involving government officials, stirred up a public storm last week after mentioning pressures on prosecutors from the Security and Information Agency, with regard to the election of members of the High Prosecutorial Council. Dolovac also announced that criminal accountability would be established if the claims were true, thereby further earning negative points with the Aleksandar Vucic authorities, who have been targeting her for months.
