Snezana Paunovic (BETAPHOTO/Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government)
Serbia’s Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Snezana Paunovic, provoked a public outcry by saying that she would have ethnically cleansed Kosovo in 1998, had she been in the position of then Serbian leader Slobodan Milosevic. The comment appeared spontaneous, but the possibility that it was a calculated political move cannot be ruled out.
