Suzana Grubjesic Serbia’s New Rep in Council of Europe

Former Serbian deputy prime minister for European integrations and G17 Plus party official Suzana Grubjesic has been named Serbia’s permanent representative with the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Oct. 12.

Grubjesic was appointed ambassador to Europe’s oldest intergovernmental organization by the executive order of President Aleksandar Vucic.

Over the course of her career, Grubjesic has been vice president of the non-governmental Center for Foreign Policy, the general secretary of the European Movement in Serbia and has worked at the Center for International Relations and the G17 Institute.

She has also served as an MP in the National Assembly of Serbia, as deputy prime minister for European integrations and as a special counselor for European integrations with the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
