On Feb. 14, Serbian Ambassador to U.S. Marko Djuric said that the presentation of Serbia’s delegation at the latest UN Security Council session has brought Pristina a step closer to international isolation.

In an interview for the Vecernje Novosti daily, Ambassador Djuric said that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s actions, “primarily his machinations and fake reality constructs, [have] exposed his true colors to the entire world.”

The Serbian ambassador expects to see more overt condemnations of Pristina’s and Kurti’s actions in the form of sanctions soon.

“We had the chance to hear 13 out of 15 Security Council members express their serious concern over Kurti’s recent decision to ban the Serbian dinar, as well as the condemnation of the move by four out of five [Council’s] permanent members,” Djuric said.
