The Serbia Against Violence and NADA (Hope) coalitions signed on March 9 an agreement for free and fair elections, which was presented by the Proglas (ProVote) initiative.

The agreement, initiated by Proglas, is intended for political parties and organizations that subscribe to the view that Serbian elections on Dec. 17, 2023, were irregular. One of the demands of the Agreement for Free and Fair Elections is that the recommendations of the OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission be implemented, especially those concerning the revision of voter rolls.

The Serbian RTS public service is required to provide citizens with complete and truthful information on local and city elections, and ensure that all of the participants are equally represented in its broadcasts. Another demand is for elections in Belgrade to be held within a timeframe that would allow for measures to improve electoral conditions to be implemented, as well as for local elections that were not held in a number of municipalities and cities last December, take place on the same day as elections in the capital.

One of the founders of the Proglas initiative, Dragan Bjelogrlic, explained that the organization would not join any ticket or election coalition. He said that Proglas felt that it had an obligation to contribute to ensuring conditions for free and fair elections, and to meet with those who will be saddled with the heaviest burden in that struggle.
