The Serbian Agency for Prevention of Corruption has scheduled a public contest for financing civil society organization projects in the area of preventing corruption in 2024.

The deadline for submitting project proposals is Apr. 11, while a total of RSD6 million will be handed out. Organizations can enter one project for financial support of up to RSD2 million.

The objective of the contest is to train youth in preventing corruption. One of the way that corruption can be prevented is by educating youth via different education programs or projects, the Agency said.

The Agency stressed that it was important for youth to be educated toward raising awareness of the existence, causes and harmful effects of corruption and help them develop skills for recognizing risky situations in terms of corruption and teach them how to resist it.
