Environmental associations will continue to actively cooperate with the opposition, but opposition politicians will not be speakers at future protest rallies against lithium mining, We Won't Give Jadar Up association activist Zlatko Kokanovic said on Oct. 18.

He told the Nova daily that opposition politicians should fight for citizens' rights through state institutions.

"We are expecting them at the blockades too, cooperation will continue," said Kokanovic.

Activists of the We Won't Give Jadar Up association, who are against the mining of lithium in Serbia, have announced hour-long blockades in Brezjak, near Gornje Nedeljice, and at the junction near Preljina for Oct. 19.
