The Serbian speaker, Ana Brnabic, said on Nov. 15 that Serbia was committed to resolving all open issues in the region through dialogue.
"A stable and prosperous region is the foundation of success for all, including Serbia. We are firmly committed to resolving all open issues through dialogue. The challenges we face are complex and require open discussions and a willingness to reach compromises that all sides can benefit from," she said during a meeting with Canadian Ambassador Michelle Cameron.
Brnabic said that Serbia was both willing and able to strengthen its ties with Canada. The Serbian official highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two parliaments and Serbia's interest in deepening collaboration between the two institutions, the Parliament of Serbia said in a release.
Ambassador Cameron said that recent visits to Serbia by many officials from across the globe were a clear indication of Serbia's geopolitical strategy, the Parliament quoted the diplomat as saying in the press release.
