On May 14, a little before 9 a.m., students occupying the Novi Sad university schools started a march to Subotica, where they are to attend a May 17 protest dubbed the North Is Calling.

As on previous such occasions, the students gathered in front of the University of Novi Sad administrative building in the morning, and other citizens were there to see them off.
The two hundred students should get to Vrbas first and continue from there toward Subotica on May 15.

Accompanying the march are bikers from the White Rabbits informal association and members of the Serbian Farmers' Survival Initiative. The North Is Calling protest in Subotica has been announced for May 17 from 2 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Students from Zrenjanin also started on foot for Subotica on May 13, together with their counterparts from Valjevo, Uzice and other towns, who first marched to this Banat district city.
