Anyone offering to support the university students’ ticket in the next elections based on certain conditions does not mean well, the oppositional Dveri movement announced on May 15.

“Attaching conditions – demanding that the university students voice their stance on [joining] the European Union, NATO, [the secession of] Kosovo and Metohija or something else – is nothing but an excuse not to support the ticket the students put forth,” the party stated.

According to Dveri, the students’ ticket winning the elections would ensure the fulfillment of the demands which have sparked six months of ongoing protests and university blockades as well as the “liberation” of state institutions and the creation of conditions for fair and transparent elections where parties can compete with their platforms.
