Serbia should effect a new policy toward the European Union so as to create room for an authentic foreign policy, one which will enable the fulfillment of the country’s geo-political interests, the oppositional New Democratic Party of Serbia said on May 23.

Such a policy would allow Serbia to “more easily dismiss any blackmail or pernicious agreements,” such as the Franco-German plan for Kosovo or documents demanding increased pressures on Republika Srpska, the party concluded.
