Dodik Meets Orban in Budapest

Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Budapest on June 5.

“RS is fortunate to have a friend like Viktor Orban,” Dodik wrote in a post on X. HE visited Budapest on the invitation of the Hungarian prime minister and, as reported by Radio-Television Republika Srpska (RTRS), they discussed the continuing of the projects in RS from which Germany had withdrawn and which Hungary wished to invest in.

These are the construction of the Hrgud wind farm and of the sewer network in Gradiska.

Besides Dodik, the RS delegation visiting Budapest includes RS Finance Minister Zora Vidovic, Energy and Mining Minister Petar Djokic, Minister for Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education Zeljko Budimir and the general director of the Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) utility, Luka Petrovic.
