The oppositional Freedom and Justice Party said on July 23 that, in the 100 days since Djuro Macut formed his cabinet, the body has achieved “zero” results, proving itself nothing more than a regime placeholder.

“What is formally known as the Serbian Cabinet in practice does not exist, and Serbia can openly remove itself from the list of parliamentary democracies and semi-presidential systems and declare itself one of today’s dictatorships, for only in Serbia does the prime minister refuse to speak to the public because his ‘boss’ won’t allow it,” Valentina Rekovic, a member of the Freedom and Justice Party’s presidency, said in the issued press release.

Rekovic went on to list PM Macut handful of achievements: one appearance on Serbia’s public broadcasting service, one million-euro villa, one diplomatic faux pas – namely thanking Egypt for its support regarding Kosovo, despite Egypt having recognized Kosovo’s independence – along with one interview for Russia’s TASS News Agency and one dangerous lie: that no munitions will be exported to Ukraine as long as he has a say.

Meanwhile, the PM has also held zero press conferences, given zero interviews for local media and he and his ministers have zero results to show for their time in office, Rekovic stated and asked how exactly Macut is justifying his salary.
