Lawyer Bozo Prelevic has said that in the background of the attack by criminals and thugs from Kraljevo on the protesting students of the State University of Novi Pazar was an attempt to stir up ethnic hatred.
Prelevic told BETA that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic had deployed criminals from Kraljevo to beat students in Novi Pazar with the aim of provoking ethnic hatred between the Serbs and Bosniaks. He stressed that the regime had been trying to incite hatred among citizens.
“As there are not enough thugs in Novi Pazar, the regime hired criminals from Kraljevo. It was done on purpose, because this regime lives on incitement to hatred. Behind the attack by criminals and thugs from Kraljevo on students of the State University in Novi Pazar is an attempt to trigger ethnic hatred between the Serbs and Bosniaks,” Prelevic stressed.
Commenting on the fact that criminals had been assisted by the police, Prelevic said that it represented a defeat of the rule of law, asking: “How was it possible for the police to watch the Blackshirts beat up the students without arresting them?”
Kraljevo alderman Predrag Vostinic has said that “those who stormed into the University of Novi Pazar are not unknown individuals.” “They are mercenaries from Kraljevo, the same individuals who, wearing private security uniforms, once removed us from the City Hall,” Vostinic said in a post on platform X.
