On Aug. 26, they posted on social media an urgent message saying that faculty Dean Milivoje Alanovic, “stormed into the faculty building together with some other professors and changed the lock.”
Since, citizens have been joining students outside the building.

The protesting students of the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad announced on Aug. 25 that they had received no response from the faculty administration in relation to their demands.
In an earlier statement, the protesting students said that the Student Plenum had decided that exams could not be held in the faculty building.
