Minister of Education Dejan Vuk Stankovic said on Oct. 30 that occasional political incidents inspired by what he said were political events on Nov. 1, would not have a lasting effect, while the state’s care for education would last.

Opening an Education Fair, Stankovic said that investing in education would be a priority of future development.

“We have not had this kind of a crisis in Serbia’s modern history, but regardless of the deep scars that it will leave behind, today we can say that the keywords that describe the education system are normalization, the stabilization of events and the functioning of the system,” Stankovic said.
