Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Feb. 4 that the trial of Culture Minister Nikola Selakovic is pointless, shameless and an attempt to topple the state.

“You’ve preserved a ruin ruined by NATO, but you’re not accusing NATO,” Brnabic said on Pink TV.

“The blockaders are emotionally unstable,” she said of the country’s protesting university students and general public, adding that they are always faulting Serbia and Serbs, that they oppose the building of roads and would offer apologies for everything. “The blockaders aren’t against the regime, they’re against the state under the guise of toppling the regime,” Brnabic concluded.
