On March 4, Serbia’s protesting farmers continued their traffic blockades in four locations, temporarily removing the rest ahead of their scheduled 2:30 p.m. talks with the Cabinet.

The Association of Dairy Farmers of Sumadija and the Morava Valley told BETA that 24-hour complete roadblocks remain in Milocaj – on the main road from Cacak to Kraljevo, Bare – between Gornji Milanovac and Kragujevac, Cerovac – at the turnoff from Raca between Kragujevac and Topola, and in Bogatic, near Sabac.

Meanwhile, the farmers in Bresnica, near Cacak, who previously obstructed the intersection connecting Cacak with Kragujevac and Kraljevo, have opted to keep their vehicles along the now cleared road while the negotiations unfold.

In the past weeks, farmers across the country have blocked numerous regional and local thoroughfares in protest against the state of Serbia’s agriculture.
