Ambassador of Israel to Serbia Avivit Bar-Ilan stated on March 4 that Iran’s attack on a British air force base in Cyprus showed that Europe was not immune and that the “destabilizing behavior” of that country had implications on Europe’s security, too.

“The attack on European bases shows that Europe is not immune. The Iranian regime has developed long-range ballistic missiles capable of reaching Europe with a reason,” the ambassador declared in an interview to the Politika daily.

“I believe this campaign will open a path to many peace agreements with other Arab and Muslim countries, change the world and create a new perspective for a new Middle East,” she said, adding that attacks would last for as long as needed.

She stressed that relations between Israel and the U.S. were stronger than ever, thanked President Donald Trump for “historic leadership” and reiterated that Iran was a destabilizing threat.
