The ruling Serbian Progressive Party and the Communist Party of China signed a memorandum of cooperation in Beijing. The memorandum was signed by Serbian Progressive Party president Milos Vucevic who is part of a delegation spearheaded by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic visiting China.

Vucevic wrote on Instagram that "this has additionally solidified the ironclad friendship between Serbia and China and confirmed a joint course of cooperation set by the presidents of the two countries Aleksandar Vucic and Xi Jinping."

"For me this is more than a formal agreement - this is a new phase of cooperation and opportunity to learn from experience, knowledge and the model of development that China has successfully built," he said.

Vucevic added that Serbia will continue to strengthen its ironclad friendship with China each day, in the interest of Serbia, the Serbian people and their shared future.
