N1 TV: RSD63.6 Billion in State Subsidies to 27 State-Owned Companies in 2025

According to the data presented in the Fiscal Strategy adopted by the Serbian government for 2027, 27 of the 36 state-owned enterprises whose work is monitored by the Finance Ministry drew subsidy funds in the total amount of RSD63.6 billion in 2025, N1 TV reported on June 10.

The railway public utility Infrastruktura železnice Srbije in 2025 received the largest amount, which it used primarily to manage infrastructure. It received RSD17.9 billion in subsidies. The second largest amount disbursed in subsidies in 2025 was RSD17.3 billion to the Putevi Srbije road utility.

The third largest amount, RSD 6.4 billion, went to the Resavica coal mining public enterprise, while the fourth largest, RSD 5.3 billion, went to the Srbijavoz railway utility. The Fiscal Strategy, adopted on June 4, states that significant funds were set aside for support to the Elektromreza Srbije power utility for the BeoGrid project, while the included table shows a total of RSD4.5 billion going to that enterprise, N1 reported.

The remaining RSD12. 1 billion in subsidies was distributed among the remaining state enterprises (22 of the 27 that received state subsidies).
