During the ruling Serbian Progressive Party’s rally in Belgrade planned for the upcoming St. Vitus Day weekend, the Ministry of Defense will, on June 28, stage a public display of the Army’s new and modernized war equipment at the Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović Air Base in Batajnica – the country’s largest military airport – while a live-fire demonstration will simultaneously take place at Cuprija’s Pasuljanske Livade training grounds.
The exact duration and locations of the largescale Progressives gathering remain unknown. For now, the only available logistical information is that the rally will commence in front of the House of Parliament in Belgrade on June 27.
The regime has also announced that the gathering – titled “Serbia: One Family” – will begin with thousands of people bearing a 500-meter-long national flag, which was created using 400 kg of dye and about 10 km of sewing thread.
