Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Aug. 2 that the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija was exposed to "horrific terror and every day [Pristina] fabricates something against them," while the world stays silent about the victimization of Orthodox Christians.
While touring the Rmanj Monastery in the Muslim-Croat Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he was met by Bishop Sergije, Vucic said Serbs cannot be classified by geography to divide them further, and that "there are no Bosnian or Croatian Serbs, there are just Serbs."
"We are all Serbs. We can live in different countries. That doesn't mean we want to grab others' borders nor does that interest us today. We are interested in keeping national unity," Vucic said.
"I will have to issue a warning to various governments and media outlets in the region - if they continue to use pejorative expressions for the Serb people in order to divide us, we will behave the same way toward them," Vucic announced.
