Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in New York, where the UN General Assembly is opening the general debate of the 81st session on Sept. 22, said that “Serbia remains consistently committed to honoring international law and the Charter of the United Nations, because these are the only principles on which we can build a fairer and safer world.”
“In a time of great divisions and increasingly complex global challenges, it is necessary to together preserve the space for dialogue, cooperation and peaceful resolution of disputes, with a strong role of the UN,” Vucic posted on his Instagram with a photo from the UN headquarters.
On Sept. 21, Vucic attended the Partners for Multilateralism (P4M) Summit “Partners for Multilateralism, International Law, Peace and Prosperity,” and he is scheduled to address the general debate on Sept. 23 as the fifth speaker of the afternoon session.
