The Republic Electoral Commission has determined the collective election list for the upcoming snap general election in Serbia scheduled for Oct. 25, which will be published on Oct. 9, and has announced that it will again try to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding voting in the diaspora.
The Commission has declared 18 election tickets, seven of which are big tickets with 250 candidates for MPs - Aleksandar Vucic - United Serbia, Ivica Dacic - Stability Factor, Student Ticket - The Students Will Win, Rasim Ljajic - Humanly, the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians ticket, Authentic Right - Milos Jovanovic, and Bogoljub Karic's ticket.
The tickets are predominantly "carried" by people aged 40 to 59, while young people account for 10 percent and women for almost 47 percent of the candidates.
Thirty-one members of the Electoral Commission were present at the meeting and all voted in favor of setting the collective list.
Two Commission members again voiced dissatisfaction with the decision the body had adopted at the proposal of the Foreign Ministry on voting in the diaspora on Oct. 25, while Commission Chairperson Vladimir Dimitrijevic said that he will once again try to contact the Ministry.
