Academician Radomir Saicic, a candidate on the election ticket Student List, has said that in the coming months, during the government transition in Serbia, it will be especially important to prevent “potential attempts of capital flight, the removal of documents and abuse of institutions.”
“There are concerns that in the coming months, there could be attempts to illegally transfer capital, archives and other things out of the country. That is why we are urging directors of public enterprises and individuals in high-ranking administrative positions to refuse illegal directives from their corrupt superiors,” Saicic said in the talks show “Impression of the Week” on TV N1.
He also said that the Student List, which won in the Oct. 25 snap parliamentary elections in Serbia, does not want any confrontation outside the institutions.
“If you want to be effective at any cost, then you have revolutionary justice and lynching. The student movement does not base its vision of the future on that. We are not just advocating for a change of government, but for a new system of values where justice is equal for all and where all are equal before the law,” Saicic stressed.
He also noted that the future government will have to act by the law, despite some people who are expecting faster changes.
