Aleksandar Vucic (BETAPHOTO/Milos Miskov)
Commenting on the storming of TV Informer premises in Belgrade in the evening of Oct. 26, Aleksandar Vucic, heading the election ticket United Serbia, on Oct. 27 said that if state bodies fail to respond to such incidents, supporters of the Serbian Progressive Party will have to self-organize.
Vucic, as reported by TV Informer, requested from state bodies to do their job and respond to “cases of terror against people,” “If the state fails to respond, we will have to make our own decisions in the coming days. If they decide to continue terrorizing and beating people who think differently, smashing property and doing other things, and the state authorities do nothing about that, we will be forced to self-organize,” he said.
Vucic also said that state bodies have an obligation to do their job, regardless of whether they like someone. “The events of yesterday (Oct. 26) were horrible. The life of Dragan Vucicevic (TV Informer editor-in-chief) was saved only with the arrival of police troops, because those savages wanted not to kill him, but even worse - to humiliate and harass him. The worst thing about an individual is when they want to humiliate someone, to inflict real pain to another person,” Vucic said.
