Student List – The Students Win MP candidate and academician Radomir Saicic, said on Nov. 4 that all his ticket’s fellow-candidates will be ready to form a new cabinet as soon as the National Assembly’s constitutive session is called.
“The constitutive session of the Serbian parliament can be called very soon, but that is not up to us. The session is called by [acting president of state] Ana Brnabic. We will, of course, be ready to fulfill our job, our duty and what we owe to the voters who elected us, regardless of when [the session is scheduled],” Saicic told the Danas daily.
The academician stated he could not discuss potential ministerial candidates since the selection process is still under way and is being conducted jointly by the Student Movement and the Student List’s candidates.
“We’re considering it. We’re certainly not waiting for the eleventh hour. But what exactly will happen is still being discussed. The whole matter is being profoundly contemplated because the situation is unusual. For, never in history have university students and a student/people’s movement achieved such a victory,” Saicic explained.
