The leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, Milorad Dodik, has stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski had attempted to buy $400 million worth of weapons from the Bosniacs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dodik told the Russian news agency TASS that the Bosniacs had reached an agreement with Zelenski’s government on the delivery, that Republika Srpska (RS) did not give permission, but that Kiev had already made the payment to the Bosniacs, who will now “be faced with legal proceedings for failing to fulfill the agreement,” the media in Banjaluka reported on May 13.

He dismissed the claims about weapons from RS being found in the Ukraine. “If we speak of official channels, not a single ammo clip will end up there because our people, the Serbs in RS, would never consent to that. No weapon can be sent to the Ukraine legally, not even through mediators,” Dodik said.

He further stated that he expected Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the consecration of a Serbian church in Banjaluka which, in his words, is practically complete and only remained to be decorated. “This will be a place where the Russian and the Serbian world will meet and promote our brotherhood, common history and religion,” said Dodik, who recently attended the Victory Day celebration in Moscow. The Church in Banjaluka was constructed according to the design of the church in the Kremlin that was received from the Russian Orthodox Church.
