Serbian Program in Expo 2020 Mixture of Tradition, Innovation

At the Expo Dubai 2020 Serbia will organize over 150 events where it will showcase its innovation, tradition and creative individuals and scientists who have left a mark on history and the modern era, a Sept. 23 statement said.

Serbia's presentation at the exhibition, which will last from Oct. 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, will be held under the slogan: "Serbia Creates Ideas: Inspired by the Past, We Shape the Future." This will be the 136th time that Serbia is participating in the global event, reporters were told at a news conference where Serbia's program was unveiled.

Higher aide to the prime minister Ana Ilic has said that Serbia will be organizing its presentation in the largest pavilion so far which spanned across 2,0000 square meters, one of 80 outstanding tents out of 190 state participants

"We will display the history of our region, from the Vinca era to modern day Serbia. We will also have a very serious business program which will include several hundred businesspeople who will participate in 11 thematic weeks, five investment conferences and in a special space, and be able to deepen their business interests," Ilic said.
