The bidding process for selecting a contractor for building the oil pipeline connecting Hungary and Novi Sad has been halted following the request for the protection of rights submitted by one the bidders, Forbes Serbia reported on Feb. 24.
In late December, joint-stock company Transnafta invited bids for the construction of the oil pipeline between Hungary and Novi Sad, with the tendering procedure divided into two separate phases.
One stage covers construction works, and the other involves supervision, meaning that two separate contracts – for building the pipeline and supervision – will be awarded in this public procurement.
An estimated value has not been provided for either of the two contracts.
