Two Decades of Being Minister
Social Democratic Party of Serbia leader Rasim Ljajic has been a minister in the Serbian cabinet practically since Slobodan Milosevic’s regime was ousted in 2000, which is an absolute record among politicians in Serbia and probably the region as well.
Ljajic’s Social Democratic Party of Serbia ran in parliamentary elections on June 21, 2020 in a coalition with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s Serbian Progressive Party. Although he has said that he will not partake in the next cabinet, he might change his decision.
