Zlatko Kokanovic (BETAPHOTO/MILAN OBRADOVIC/MO)
Leader of the We Won’t Give Jadar Up association Zlatko Kokanovic has been one of the most prominent activists against mining lithium in Serbia in the past three years. Kokanovic, a native of Gornje Nedeljice, came to the forefront of this struggle on July 7 when he was arrested with six of his fellow activists after blocking the Loznica-Zvornik railroad.
