The Ease of Political Survival
Newly-appointed chief of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic, a long-term advocate of hardline policy on Kosovo and close associate and friend of the Office’s former chief Marko Djuric, has successfully modified and adjusted his views during his ascent on the political ladder.
Right before his appointment, Petkovic glorified Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, calling him a statesman who had entered history for succeeding in preserving Serbian state and national interests before the U.S.’s top officials in Washington.
