Dragoslav Bokan, a broadly educated film director and an extreme nationalist, has been present in Serbia’s public life for decades. A paramilitary commander in the former Yugoslavia’s wars back in the 1990s, Bokan attracted public opprobrium last week, with a chauvinist attack at an opposition leader, Marinika Tepic.
